Here are some photos of a meal being prepared in a solar oven.

Before cooking- here is a Mexican beef burrito filling with BBQ sauce and peppers, and also some pinto beans that have been presoaked.

Food is cooked inside of black pots. The black pots absorb the heat rather than reflect heat as shiney pots do.

After cooking from 11 AM to about 4 PM the food is ready to serve!

The oven is occasionally repositioned to track the sun. No stirring of the food is required.

If you want to purchase a commercially made solar oven, the Global Sun Oven is the one that I use. It is, by far, the best on the market. These will reach 350 f. They are portable and very durable.
